Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X

The front-loading battery compartment is a game changer—swapping cells mid-range takes seconds without breaking my grip. Multi-fuel capability means I can run whatever’s on hand, and it’s held zero through a few hundred rounds so far.

The ambidextrous switches are perfectly placed—I can hit them instantly with my support hand without shifting my grip. Multi-fuel capability means I’m not locked into one battery type, which is a huge relief when I’m packing for long trips.

The ambidextrous switches feel natural under both thumbs, and the multi-fuel option means I can grab whatever batteries are on hand without worrying. It’s bright enough to light up the whole yard, and the build feels rock solid after a few hundred rounds.
